White Curl Works
2013–2014

With the White Curl works, each work was exposed to the same conditions and colors as the Black Curl works, yet the paper was compressed to half its length on the magnetic wall causing larger portions of the paper to remain blocked from light due to the tight compression of the paper during the exposure. This compression was a compromise with shifting conditions, as, for a short period, the arrangement of the studio darkroom was such that the space available for the production of the work was limited. This finite body of work reflects this momentary shift in the conditions of production of the work.

These follow the same titling convention as the Three Color Curl works. For example:
